Larry Mullen Jr.’s Corned Beef and Cabbage Recipe

A friend asked me to post this recipe when he saw it mentioned the other day. So without further ado…

LARRY MULLEN JR.’S CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE RECIPE

Fill a gallon-sized pot with water.

Place pot on stove to boil, setting temperature and tempo to high.

Corn some beef, cut ends off cabbage, put in pot.

Twirl drumsticks.

Add a teaspoon of olive oil once water has come to a boil, make sure backbeat is driving.

Let beef and cabbage simmer for forty five minutes while performing seventeen minute drum solo using only cymbals and foot pedal.

Add some kick drum to give the music the bottom it needs and some coriander to the dish for an unexpected enhancement to delight your audience.

Write a song for your solo record.

Remove corned beef and cabbage from pot.

Garnish with mustard and a t-shirt with cut-off sleeves.

Throw three sets of drum sticks into audience.

Salt and pepper to taste.
